I’m Itay Wolfish, a software engineer in Tel Aviv with about eight years across full-stack and devops. These days I work at the seam where product code meets the infrastructure it runs on, building systems and the platform underneath them, then writing down what actually worked.

I’m the founding platform engineer at Echo, where I own the AWS and Kubernetes platform under an AI product built on a deliberately boring stack. The guiding idea is that code is a liability: keep the team small, keep the stack well-understood, and make infrastructure a non-topic for the engineers shipping on top of it.

Most of what I publish comes out of that work: platform engineering, serverless and no-backend architecture, AI coding-agent tooling (I build adeptability), and the occasional deep-dive on TypeScript or Docker. The write-ups live in Writing, and the projects I’ve written up properly are on Projects.
